TESTING THE EMISSIONS

Emissions testing on vehicles with the FUELTEC installed show across the board reductions in harmful exhaust elements.

While no consistent factor can be shown (emissions are affected by type and grade of fuel, age of the vehicle, maintenance of systems, etc.), before and after testing has shown reduction in all cases, especially of hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrous oxides (NOx), products most harmful to the environment.

In one test, conducted on a T2000 with a Cummins 600 Signature engine, emissions were 10 times less when the Fueltec was installed in the fuel line.

CleanAir Ontario emission testing has continually shown that the FUELTEC reduces harmful emissions.

Before Fueltec Installation

Two tests were performed on a 1995 Volvo tractor trailer.

The first test, (before installation of a FUELTEC unit) was done in September 1999 and gave an average result of 14.1. The Fueltec was installed in June 2000.

After Fueltec Installation

The second test , was done in December 2000
and showed a result of 6.9.

The result of these tests shows that the FUELTEC unit halved the original figure.
