Safety and Innovations Marketing Inc. is a Canadian Corporation located in southwestern Ontario. It is headquartered in St. Williams, Ontario with offices in Restoule, Ontario and our manufacturing facility is located in Erie, Pa.
Dale Vranckx, the CEO of the company also incorporated Odyssey in November of 1985. (See sidebar for more info-->) A long list of companies began seeking Dale's abilities as not only a world class racer but also as an ingenious product developer/tester and marketer.
Dale Vranckx Dale Vranckx has been involved in motorsports racing since 1978. He started his career racing cross-country on motorcycles and quickly became one of Canada's top riders. His abilities helped him to venture into competing on snowmobiles where he earned many more titles. His favourite type of racing is endurance where stamina, focus and endurance are the most important attributes. This extreme kind of racing takes a highly prepared machine with a focus on reliability. One of the world class events that Dale has competed in, with a dirt bike, is the I.S.D.E. with Team Canada 1981 where he earned a silver medal in Elba, Italy after six days or racing.
His toughest long distance race was the 1982 Baja 1000, where competing on a motorcycle, he had to rebuild his engine twice and still earned 3rd place.
In 1990 Dale began competing with Sea-Doo's, this is when he and his team defeated the world in watercraft competition. His design of hulls and handling components helped him earn a personal world record and his team 42 world and national titles. Dale held the number one plate in closed course for one year and the number one plate in offshore competition for six years. His success earned him Bombardier Sea-Doos Factory race support and grants for product development.
Hummer Racing The 1998 Baja 1000 was Dale's first attempt in a 4-wheel off-road vehicle, and Dale was successful in leading Team Canada's Shell sponsored Hummer to a 1st place victory in the Sports Truck class. Dale created a new company to market his commodity and hence the DBA Hummer Racing....

The sponsors for the racing Hummer are General Motors, Hummer, Shell Lubricants, Panasonic, Canadian Tire, B.F. Goodrich, IPF Lights, Holley, Duralast Batteries, Wix Filters, Rod Hall International and Bombardier Recreational Products.
Racing Hummers earned Dale three Baja Championships and requests for training led Dale into developing a training course for Hummers at his St. William Facility.
His next adventure with the Hummer will be racing in Australia in the 4000Km Safari Competition along side of Mike Ryan (www.fastrucks.com), another world champion and records holder. The event will be covered by Dale's Film crew with a third movie to be completed. Stay Tuned!
