User tips:

• After the Fueltec is first installed, the engine might run roughly for a few days due to the cleaning action of the unit. If the engine has not regained smooth operation within 2 weeks, it might need adjustment because of the improved combustion and cleaner engine. It is advisable to change the fuel filter if hesitation is experienced after installation.
   
• In cases where the vehicle has a computerized injection system, it is recommended to disconnect the ground from the battery and reattach, to reset the computer to recalibrate to the new settings required.
   
• The Fueltec will clean out the engine. Therefore, it is advisable to install the unit at least 1500 kilometers before an oil change. If the oil has been recently changed, you will probably notice that the oil bcomes dirty fairly quickly. This is a good sign that the engine is being cleaned out, however, it will mean another oil change is recommended before the usual time for change.
   
• In large tractor trailers, the fuel filter may become clogged very quickly due to the release of chemical agents in the diesel fuel that have previously gathered in the fuel lines. If you experience any restriction in fuel flow, it is recommended to monitor the filter for clogging and change when necessary. The filter might have to be changed two or three times before the fuel lines are completely cleaned out.
   
• Results will vary according to different vehicles and driving habits. Best results in fuel economy are often seen with highway driving. 
   
• The Fueltec can be installed on all makes and models of vehicles. A study of warranty information from major automakers indicates that warranties will not be affected by the addition of the Fueltec.
